The BLFA was delighted to attend the latest BSI Standards Conference and Awards at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel in London and we also had the opportunity to be a part of the Knowledge Marketplace as a trade association exhibitor. Hundreds of industry experts, specifiers and standards makers attended the event and we were able to promote the association to many of them.
Unsurprisingly, one of the key topics was sustainability and how companies in every industry can implement systems and processes that can limit negative effects on the global environment. Many of our Members are leading the way with the research and development of carbon neutral laminate products through a variety of areas such as renewable energy sources, reforestation, afforestation, direct air carbon capture and greenhouse gas emission reduction .
